1.0I do not recommend this property. A few hours before my arrival, I was informed that I had to move to another property due to an alleged "technical problem" at Relais Barberini. I did not accept this proposal because I had specifically chosen Relais Barberini for its location and quality. After refusing, the property stopped responding to my messages. When I arrived at the original address, there was no reception and no one to welcome me. After calling several times, I was simply told to go to the alternative property because I had no other option. Unfortunately, the replacement accommodation was clearly not of the same standard as the one I had booked and fully paid for. There was no air conditioning, the Wi-Fi did not work, and the location was much less convenient than Relais Barberini. I also contacted Booking.com for assistance, but the property ignored Booking's messages as well. Afterward, they even blocked my phone number, making any communication impossible. This experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience during my trip. If a property cannot honor a confirmed reservation, it should be transparent and provide an equivalent alternative, not leave guests without support upon arrival. I hope Booking.com investigates this property to protect future travelers from similar experiences.
