The location was perfect! We brought our car so it was great having a dedicated parking spot with name on it. The grounds were beautiful; enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor seating area. The hotel decor was bright and modern. Everything was well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were very good and convenient. Coffee and filtered water were available 24/7 and loved that they had ice coffee available too. The afternoon freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were so yummy. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay!

− The room although beautiful was on the small side. The bureau took up a lot space so the clearance between the bed and bureau was narrow. A slimmer bureau would fit better or options for storage that better accommodate the room design should be considered.

Very friendly staff at The Richard. We loved our room which was very spacious and had access to a lovely outdoor area including a fire pit which was great in the evening. Very impressed with breakfast which fully catered for one of our party with a dairy allergy - lots of choice which isn't always the case in our experience of hotels.

The property was very quaint, well maintained and centrally located.

− The stairs were steep to go up to the second floor. My elderly mother would not have been able to climb the stairs if she were with me. There was not an elevator.
