Beautiful building in a stunning location with lovely gardens. Plenty parking in the grounds. Rooms pleasant and clean. Breakfast on another level. Probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in my extensive travels. Fab menu to choose from and food u can tell is local quality produce. Friendly staff and helpful.

Check-in is strictly from 15:00 to 19:00. The Hideaway At Windermere requests that all guests provide an expected arrival time at the time of booking.

Arrivals after 19:00 will be treated as a no-show and will be charged in full, as per cancelation policy.

Please note that The Hideaway has a strict nonsmoking policy. Guests will be asked to vacate the room immediately if evidence of smoking is found, and a minimum charge of GBP 200.00 will be applied to the credit/debit card used to make the reservation, to cover all additional cleaning and dry cleaning costs.

Bookings for 3 rooms or more cannot be accepted.

Please note, there is no elevator at the property, and as a result it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
