10.0Elige este lugar para avistar tortugas. Nosotros tuvimos la suerte de ver a una tortuga desovar y a tortugas recién nacidas correr al mar. Por favor no vayas a santuarios de tortugas es todo una actividad turística falseada. Elige All View Resort porque los dueños te prestarán bicis para llegar al lugar en 5' de ida y 5' de vuelta. También puedes ir paseando. El trayecto es bonito. El avistamiento es en Rakawa Beach que pertenece a la zona de Tangalle. En esta playa no te puedes bañar, está reservada para las tortugas y además el mar suele estar muy picado (he trabajado muchos años de socorrista de playa) pero es genial para pasear. Espectacular playa salvaje. Del resto de Tangalle no todas merecen la pena desde mi punto de vista. Como en esta playa no te puedes bañar, puedes disfrutar de la preciosa piscina de All View Resort. Tiene 13m de largo así que puedes nadar un poco (soy profesora de natación). El alojamiento es muy bonito, cierto estilo colonial. El desayuno maravilloso si te gusta la comida esrilanquesa, no está picante aunque yo adoro el picante. Si lo deseas puedes cenar y comer, no es barato pero no es nada caro, la dueña cocina espectacular y los productos son de primera calidad. La habitación es cómoda, el baño y la cama también. Este lugar es perfecto vengas de donde vengas de la isla para avistar tortugas y disfrutarás la estancia. La terraza donde sirven las comidas está muy bien. El avistamiento de las tortugas es a partir de las 7-7.30pm así que organiza tu check-in, comida, cena, piscina y ducha para que todo cuadre teniendo en cuenta que una vez vayas a la playa es muy posible que regreses más tarde de las 11-12pm. Merece la pena!!! Nosotros no comimos porque habíamos desayunado tarde y muchísimo, nos instalamos, disfrutamos de la piscina, cenamos a las 7.15 y a las 8-8.30 nos fuimos (mejor si bajas antes por si acaso).

10.0I highly recommend to spend some time, because there is so much to do! We stayed 4 nights at this lovely family owned place. We borrowed bicycles from the owner. The breakfast and dinner was the best we have eaten in Sri Lanka (not exaggerating!) We had the whole place for ourselves because it was low season. We enjoyed the new swimmingpool every day. We saw 200kg mother turtles laying egg and about 50-100 baby turtle coming out of their eggs. The beaches are amazing. More lonely than silent beach!

− We booked three rooms. Afterwards via WhatsApp we were told only 2 were available. We took a few hours to respond to discuss. They were very impatient, sending many messages. Then we agreed with two rooms. Then they wanted us to cancel on booking.com so they don't pay commission for the third room. Then we arrived and it didn't look like a resort. It's a house in the jungle. A beautiful house but we imagined something different. The lady was shouting at our driver that drivers were not allowed to park there. We felt very unwelcome and together with the way things went earlier decided to go drink a coffee and decide what to do. On our way to the coffee we got tens of messages and two calls. Slowly becoming more and more rude. Insulting our countries and our driver. We decided not to go back and I blocked him on WhatsApp. He had the number of the driver cause he called them earlier. They then called him more than 10 times. Insulting him, telling him they would hurt or kill him if he ever came back.
