10.0Het hostel ligt in een heel mooi straatje in het centrum van Santiago de Compostela. Onderaan de hostel is er een gelijknamige bar waar je heel lekker kan ontbijten en lunchen. Het personeel is allemaal heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was een aangename afwisseling na al de herbergen die ik onderweg tijdens de Camino Primitivo bezocht. De kamer is echt wat je van een hotelkamer mag verwachten.
− Eigenlijk niets. Het is prijzig maar je krijgt er wat voor terug. Die keuze maak je natuurlijk zelf en je zit in het hartje van een hele drukbezochte stad.
Happy Pilgrims arriving in Santiago de Compostela
10.0We stayed here as pilgrims after completing the Camino. The hotel has a GREAT location, very close to the Cathedral. The windows block out all noise, so busy streets, but peaceful and tranquil in the room. Bonus was that 10 % Breakfast discount is offered at the Hotel Cafe downstairs (good food and coffee) and opens earlier exclusively for everyone staying at the hotel. Unfortunately we had to leave early for the airport - but the hotel offers a late check-out, so enjoy if you are able to leave later. You can leave your bags/backpacks with the hotel staff if you arrive before check-in.
− We enjoyed everything. Just maybe a note to pilgrims staying here: You won't be able to rinse pilgrim clothes, as there is no drying rack, but this makes total sense as it is a hotel and not an albergue.
Please note that the property does not have a elevator and has 4 floors. The reception is open from 09:00 to 16:00. If you plan to arrive outside reception opening hours, please contact the property during reception hours to obtain the access codes.
Please be aware that we do not have storage room for bicycles and they are not permitted to be brought into the rooms, even if they have been packaged, cleaned, disassembled, etc.
