Es gibt sie noch, die guten, alten Dinge.
10.0Das Gebäude ist ein historisches Kleinod, eine Zeitkapsel, mit einem Rokoko-Speisesaal, Bodenfließen von Henry Van de Felde, einem phantastischen Garten, super gelegen, nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück.
Zimmer und Frühstück enttäuschend, aber Alternativen waren kaum vorhanden.
4.0Die Dame, die uns am Abend empfangen hat, war wirklich sehr freundlich. Der Blick auf die direkt vor dem Haus vorbei fließende Weser war sehr schön.
− Das Zimmer, das angeblich ein Deluxe Zimmer sein sollte, war nicht nur sehr in die Jahre gekommen, diverses funktionierte auch nicht (Rollo, Wasserhahn an der Spüle, der Durchlauferhitzer) oder fiel auseinander (Stehlampe). Das Frühstücksbuffet war nichts besonderes, der Kaffee war so dünn, dass er kaum nach Kaffee schmeckte. Die Garage, in der wir unsere Fahrräder unterstellen konnten, war so dreckig, dass alles, was wir beim Packen auf dem Boden abstellen mussten, total staubig wurde. Der Zimmerpreis war aus meiner Sicht überteuert, aber wohl der Tatsache geschuldet, dass die Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in dieser Gegend des Weserradweges rar waren.

8.0Die Lage des Hauses direkt an der Weser ist wunderbar. Und auch das Städtchen Bodenwerder hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Unterbringung der Fahrräder war problemlos: es stehen Garagen direkt neben dem Hoteleingang zur Verfügung. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption ist sehr unkompliziert und hilfsbereit.
− Leider kein Restaurant im Haus, wo das Abendesssen hätte eingenommen werden können. Leider keine Klimaanlage. Es war sehr heiss im Zimmer. Kleines Detail: über dem Lavabo konnte die eine Seite des Spiegelschranks nicht geschlossen gehalten werden. Dazu musste der in der Föhnhalterung daneben steckende Haarföhn herhalten: wenn er entsprechend in der Halterung eingesteckt war, konnte er mit dem Rohr das Spiegelschranktürchen im geschlossenen Zustand gedrückt halten. Das Personal im Frühstücksraum spricht teils keine einzige zentral- oder westeuropäische Spreche.
