We stayed at this property for three nights, and our experience was simply exceptional. The room was beautiful, modern, functional, and impeccably clean. In fact, the entire property, including both the guest rooms and common areas, is maintained with remarkable care. The quality of the food deserves special recognition. The breakfasts were outstanding: varied, generous, made with fresh ingredients, and prepared with great attention to detail. The meals served on site were equally impressive; everything was homemade and carefully prepared. The hosts, Vicki and Mitch, are among the most welcoming and friendly people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Warm, attentive, and always available, they generously share their knowledge about the property, local wines to discover, the surrounding region, and the many activities available nearby. This place offers far more than just accommodation; it is a true retreat where guests can relax, recharge, and genuinely enjoy spending time. The location is exceptional, in the heart of a picturesque fortified village and just a short walk from a castle. The view is simply breathtaking and makes the experience even more memorable. Finally, the property is easy to reach thanks to the clear directions provided, and free, secure parking is available nearby. Everything has been thoughtfully designed to provide an authentic, welcoming, and high-quality experience. We leave with wonderful memories of our stay.

The friendly welcome from the owners and the wonderful views from the terrace. There were lots of places to sit and enjoy the views as well as sitting areas indoors. We enjoyed being able to use the honesty bar and make ourselves at home. Eating in the evening on the terrace with Mitch's huge salads watching the sunset was amazing. They even managed to cope easily with us being vegetarians. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it.

L’accueil de Vicky, la propriétaire est une dame chaleureuse, accueillante et souriante. Elle est attentive à nos besoins, elle nous a donné beaucoup de renseignements sur la région. Une personne professionnelle et attentionnée Elle contribue à notre séjour et nous fait sentir très bien Le déjeuner est excellent

Ein ganz außergewöhnlicher, großartiger Ort innerhalb des Festungsbereichs auf dem Burgberg. Einzigartiges Panorama. Gemütliches kleines Zimmer ganz oben, mit viel Holz aber modernem Bad. Mehrere Terrassen mit einem fantastischen, meilenweiten Rundblick über das Alentejo. Das mittelalterliche Haus ist liebevoll renoviert und hat eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre. Es gibt mehrere Aufenthaltsräume mit Zugang zu Getränken, so dass jede/r den Ort findet, wo man sich am wohlsten fühlt. Die Gastgeber Vicki und Mitch sind sehr freundlich, mit familiärem Umgang, aber ohne sich aufzudrängen. Mitch kocht abends, von einem kleinen, aber Abwechslung bietenden Menü. Sehr schmackhaft! Ich habe mich wunderbar betreut und sehr willkommen gefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung!

− Alles war perfekt! Für die außergewöhnliche Lage oben auf dem Berg sollte man aber besser mit dem Auto unterwegs sein. Zu Fuß ist es ein ordentlicher Anstieg (für den die Gastgeber einen aber auch unten abholen würden).
