Overall I would not recommend staying at this hotel. We did not sleep well even one night due to the heat and noise from
5.0The room was spacious (deluxe room with balcony) and clean. The furniture was modern and the large window/door let in a lot of light. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. Communication regarding check in was clear. In regards to the location it is close to shops/restaurants/the shore. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Nice patio area that is accessible for all guests.
− Upon entering there are only stairs which are fairly steep- not accessible or appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. Rooms with balconies face main road which at night are very loud, this is constant throughout the night and makes it very hard to sleep. The front door has a buzzer and is extremely loud when slammed and if staying on lower floors it can be clearly heard when people are coming/going through the night. This happened every night at least 4/5 times. The room has no air conditioning- when visiting in July this was a problem as the room was incredibly warm and offered no restbite from the humidity outside. This also meant that it was necessary to keep windows open during the night which made the noise outside worse. We saw some cockroaches on our stay. Some in the room and some in communal areas. The bathroom for the deluxe room is very small and the shower is also small and has no space for soap etc. there is a communal fridge and kitchen which guests can use. The fridge however was often full and there was food/leftovers there when we arrived that was still there when we left a week later - this is not cleaned regularly. Someone also ate some of our food, this could have been a mistake but still a flaw of this system.
