10.0It's one of my favourite places I've ever stayed! A lovely peaceful 5km hike up to the hut, through the forests - great if it's cloudy or windy as you're protected. I adored the hut itself. Sitting by the fire, drinking coffee and reading a book while looking out over the lake and glacier was pure bliss. The staff were the best. There were just 3 of us staying so we had dinner by candlelight all together. They're such cool, interesting, welcoming people. The room was really cozy and had everything I needed. Loved listening to the wind outside while being warm and snug in my bunk! Puesto Cagliero has definitely been a highlight of my Argentina trip and I'd love to go back.
