Incredible location, food and night skies
10.0We booked this place as something a little different on our 3 week honeymoon tour of NZ. Absolutely loved this location being up in the mountains with such a friendly bunch of staff. The food was brilliant for both dinner and breakfast, and added plus of insanely clear night skies
− The road up was quite a long drive along a gravel path, but we were lucky to have an SUV so it was no problem

8.0Exceptional views, friendly staff and good food. The restaurant / lounge area was large and comfortable.
− The bunk beds were not the most comfortable, and although it was in theory a 6 berth room, it was only just comfortable for 3 with minimal luggage.
Beautiful views from a very comfortable and friendly lodge. Dunny and his staff were fantastic hosts!
9.0Welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff. They shared lots of info about the area, and made sure we were comfortable. Loved the mt. Bike tracks right outside the door. Comfortable lodge with a great family restaurant.
