Great Location

This is Thailand, and sometimes things are different, and you might give up a little of one thing to get more of another. This is one of those places. The people are fantastic. The location is AMAZING (unless you like touristy places). My room was under a bar and the window shutters opened up to the backside of a kite surfing shop, which for some people would be great, but for me, it was a small price to pay for staying in such a great place. I enjoyed sitting at the railing at the edge of the bar. It gave spectacular views of everything from the local stray dogs, to grazing cattle, local families at the beach, to wind surfers zipping over the water.
