Good budget hotel in this small village, you cannot expect much more for this price.
6.0The location of the hotel was not far from the center of Kuala Tahan and the boat departure. The availability of cold and warm water was nice, even if we discovered it with other visitors and not with the staff. The Hotel is giving the possibility to dry clothes outside but the humid air of Taman Negara is not helping so much. ( it is not the fault of the hotel :) ). As we arrived earlier than expected, the staff was nice and allow us to drop our bags in the reception. We really appreciated it.
− Some of the device were not working ( TV ) or poorly working ( Air Condition ). The bathroom was quite basic. The hotel of having only few rooms with the river view so low chance to have the nice view. The staff is not always available, the reception is closed during the night ( not a real issue but important to know ). It is important to know that the hotel is located close to the mosque, so do not be surprize of early prayer call.
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in.
