Chambres avec beaucoup de charme et personnel extrêmement sympathique. L’hôtel est situé au 4 eme étage d’un . Immeuble ancien aux parties communes mal entretenues mais une fois dedans c’est magnifique.

Overall experience at Metropolis hotel was amazing - fabulous location, quite a spacious room (if you compare with other properties offering accommodation in this area), well designed interior to let you get immersed in the long bygone epoque. Lovely personnel at the reception ready to help with any issue and breakfast served in the room made my heart melt.

Мне очень понравился отель. Он расположен в старом доме в начале Невского проспекта. Каждый номер в этом отеле неповторим и посвящен писателю или композитору. Нам достались "Гоголь" и "Толстой". Мы чувствуем атмосферу того времени. Фотографии, подбор мебели, светильники, потолок и обои - все работает на создание выбранного образа. Можно взять в ящике старый том произведений Гоголя, полистать страницы, зачитаться. Или смотреть в окно на движение троллейбусов, почему-то совсем нешумное. Или на крыши. При этом номер, конечно, оборудован современными удобствами. Хотелось бы отметить, что номер просторный.

Великолепное место! В ста шагах (именно шагах!) от Адмиралтейства и Дворцовой площади, буквально за углом неплохие кафе для завтрака и метро Адмиралтейская. Всегда есть каршеринг рядом (правда, в будние дни бывает заставлен вторым рядом). Контрастные номера (нам достался Чехов, по мотивам произведения «Вишнёвый сад»). Единственное, чего хотелось бы добавить в номер - пакетиков с кофе, но это мелочи :) прекрасное место, после остановки в котором предоставляют скидку на последующие посещения и не только в «Метрополисе», но и в гостинице-партнёре. Дружелюбный «экипаж» гостиницы - ресепшен доступен 24/7 и всегда пойдут на встречу, помогут решить вопросы, расскажут как и куда добраться. По выезду - разрешают оставить чемоданы и сумки в хранилище до отбытия. Отдельная радость - старый, аутентичный лифт здания. Крохотный, гремучий, но такой уютный и прям ленинградский!
