− only the premises were a bit dated thats all needs a bit of TLC
Comfy bed. Cheap and cheerful, but beware ‘party nights’.
4.0Convenient location for the railway station.
− The building has seen better days and could do with a spruce up. On check-in, I was advised that on the first night of my stay, there was a party event taking place. The helpful receptionist booked me in a room as far away from the noise as possible, but it was very loud and disruptive to sleep. On asking another member of staff, I was told that this hotel is a ‘party venue’ and it says so in the terms and conditions. It doesn’t, in fact it refers to a ‘quiet setting’ and ‘Quiet street view’. Those details need amending.

8.0Location perfect for what I needed
− I.had to have the window open and some idiot across the street has a rooster that starts squealing at 5am. That's not the hotels fault but it did affect my sleep each night

7.0Breakfast was very nice.. great choice & well presented Rooms are dated but adequate & clean
− Room furniture was dark.. If painted a light colour would brighten the room up considerably

If a guest requests an early check in between 12:00 - 14:00, or a late check in after 23:00, then a GBP 10.00 charge will be made in each instance.
Breakfast is served from 07.00 until 08:30 Monday to Friday, and from 08.00 until 09.30 on Saturdays and Sundays.
