9.0Right on the Common. Beautiful room. Lovely helpful staff. Comfy bed. Good food at breakfast and in the evening. Perfect location.
− Only served whole milk. No semi skimmed or skimmed which we think most people prefer to whole.

10.0Loved the room, the location. But what makes it truly special is the staff's attention, nothing is ever too much trouble. Cuteous and friendly. Thank you for a memorable stay.
Please inform Mount Edgcumbe in advance if you require the use of a travel cot, as not every room can accommodate a cot.
Check-in after 11 pm is not possible.
The property does not have a 24-hour reception.
The restaurant and bar will close on Christmas Day (25 December).
Please note all rooms are on the second floor of the building (above the bar/restaurant), and are only accessible via stairs.
