Basic accommodation but clean and warm. Nice bar but no food available. Overall for a quick stop over not to bad at all. Good breakfast.

Kom till hotellet sent på efm o fick ett bra mottagande i baren. Rummen var små o spartanskt möblerade. Frukosten blev en besvikelse, torftig med dålig service o lång väntan på påfyllning.

Cosy hotel close to pretty Harbour

We were looking a place like this, old but with "magic" The hotel is beautiful, the pub is nice, it cover our expectations. The bed was really comfortable. And the staff were simple lovely with us.

One nigth at Portsoy

Rooms set above to the PUB but still quiet. They are a little bit small and not really soundproof as well. It could be a problem if your neighbour is noisy! The bathroom is small too with a shower only. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed taking it there. Vicinity is peaceful and you can take a walk, quietly around the Lock of SOY, or at the small port located on the lower district. No parking assigned but it's easy to park on street. For one night, it's a good place to stay.

Small and dated but clean and comfortable

Hotel looks nice and there is public parking in a small square across the road. Our room was small and it is a bit dated. It was quite stuffy even with the window open because it was so hot outside. The bed however was comfy so was good for the one night we stayed
