Good location on lovely peaceful village with an interesting history
9.0Excellent breakfast. Especially having kippers on the menu. And fruit salad.
− The corridor approach to the rooms is not quite the same standard as the remainder of the premises.
Great stop over point for our longer journey

It served a purpose for an overnight stay to break our journey but rather disappointing.
5.0Dinner fine. We booked this on seeing the website but in reality we were not impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
− Breakfast disappointing, No fruit, and only Bran Flakes and Rice Crispies to choose from. Room was much smaller than seemed to be shown on the website, and, we thought that the price was too expensive for this room. The large spider on the bed and the big, black, creepy crawly on the floor were not ordered.

− Our room smelt damp 3 little dehumidifiers in total couldn't sleep extremely hit a dbright secret light shining in despite curtains
