Great location
9.0We stayed at River Hotel for a couple of nights. We chose room only as we don't normally have breakfast although we did on our last day and the full englus hcwas superb. We were accommodated in the Annexe and the room was good. Well decorated and spotless. Great shower. The hotel has a garden backing on to the Thames and it was pleasant to sit out in the evening while enjoying a cold beer from the honesty bar. All in all, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

9.0River Hotel 酒店是此行最满意的一家酒店，酒店是一个有故事、有年代的漂亮的建筑，就在火车站的西面一点点，泰晤士河畔步道旁。酒店的接待小姐姐非常友善，帮我们楼上楼下搬行李。店里还有一位会说中文的女士。早餐有中文菜单。 酒店外墙上的小小的蓝牌子是牛津当地经典的历史蓝牌(Blue Plaque)，记载着这栋建筑的历史：外圈上沿:牛津郡蓝牌委员会；外圈下沿:牛津市民协会 正文：托马斯·亨利·金格里1843-1928 牛津首席建筑承包商 两度出任牛津市市长 1889年至1905年间居住于此 托马斯·亨利·金格里是维多利亚时代牛津最重要的建造商，牛津大量老建筑都是他修建的，也是牛津近代举足轻重的地方政治家。 用我们的话说，这就是名人故居。推荐入住这个极有特色的酒店。
