Beautiful spot and accommodation but incredibly expensive.

Comfortable and gorgeous experience at Ecolodge La Estancia
10.0Ecolodge La Estancia was an amazing lodging area on the Isla del Sol. The breakfast and the dinner they provided was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Specifically, Susanna at the front desk was able to answer our questions :) The rooms were comfortable and cute.

Eigentlich eine tolle Location, allerdings hat uns dann der unvorhergesehene doppelte Preis den Aufenthalt nicht mehr in
3.0Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön mit Sicht auf den Titicacasee, es ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.
− Das was uns im Nachhinein sehr traurig gemacht hat, war die Tatsache, dass wir überBooking.com eine Buchung über 356,45 € getätigt hatten und ja auch die Kreditkarte hinterlegt war. Bei der Bezahlung des Aufenthalts konnten wir allerdings nur in Bolivianos bezahlen und die beiden Übernachtungen lagen dann bei umgerechnet 697€ , also fast das Doppelte, obwohl andere Unterkünfte in Bolivien entweder die hinterlegte Kreditkarte in EUR oder USD belastet haben oder über Paypal bezahlt wurden. Es wäre also gut, wenn man diese Situation im Vorhinein wüsste, damit man weiß, worauf man sich einlässt oder einfach Devisen in bar mitbringt. Wir sind jetzt 3Wochen in Bolivien in verschiedenen Unterkünften unterwegs, aber eine solche unangenehme Überraschung gab es noch nie…..und wir sind auch nicht zum ersten Mal in Bolivien.
