6.0The fridge and freezer in the cottage were particularly helpful on this trip. The breakfast was excellent. Location good for what we wanted.
− The shower needed attention.

7.0Very good breakfast and a friendly atmosphere. Comfortable bed with crisp clean sheets.
− The noise from the A1 is intrusive. Better double glazing and wall insulation would be the only solution. Given the location and convenience for what I needed the noise was not unexpected and could be tolerated.
The host was very pleasant but I didn't get a good night sleep

− Unfortunately I found the mattress too hard in the main bed and the sheets were stained. The road noise was significant but that wasn't unexpected as it was very close to the a1 however the widow wouldn't shut which would have helped

− Too hot. No access to fresh air, very old and dated, no aircon.
