A pleasant stay overall, with a wonderful animation team and staff, but there are a few areas that could be improved.

The animation team and the staff were honestly the only real positive part of our stay. I would like to give my deepest thanks to one of the animation team members who noticed that my daughter was in danger of drowning and immediately jumped in to save her. His quick response was exceptional, and I am truly grateful to him. He deserves genuine appreciation and recognition.

− There are a few areas that I believe could be improved. The service sometimes felt a little slow, as we usually had to request things before receiving them, including towel cards for the children. The Wi-Fi was mentioned as free in the booking, but we were informed that it was only available at the reception, and the connection was quite weak. There was also very limited mobile network coverage in the rooms, which made communication difficult. We had specifically requested a pool-view room so we could keep an eye on our children, but unfortunately the room we received had no view of the pool at all.

The animation team and the staff were definitely the highlight of our stay. I would especially like to thank one of the animation team members who noticed that my daughter was in danger of drowning and immediately stepped in to help her. I truly appreciate his quick response and kindness.

Good hotel, but I think you can get more value for money elsewhere

Overall it was a decent stay. I wasn’t looking for luxury, but it’s a shame because if they adjusted some details it could be better. Room - outdated and the mattress was VERY uncomfortable. The view from the balcony was quite nice though and it was well cleaned daily. Bathroom is old and the shower head wasn’t working properly. When I let them know though, they fixed the problem almost immediately, which was great customer service. Restaurant and food - decent quality and variety. The bad: If you end up dining at a later time, they don’t even clean/change the table cloths used by a previous guest, unless you insist and they take it off. Water is always lukewarm inside the restaurant and they only have American watered down coffee. No chance to get a proper cappuccino other than in the reception and it’s from a cheap machin and watery. Beach - if you care about corals and a reef it’s not for you. If you don’t want to do snorkeling, but just relax on the beach and in the water, then it’s a decent beach. You need to go quite far to finally be completely in the water. More than half the beds are old and uncomfortable, the others are nice and comfy but you can’t always find one. Reception - hit and miss. I asked for a late check out days in advance and on the day of it they almost denied it to me even though, of course, I was going to pay the extra charge. In the end the manager let me do it at the extra charge, but the way he worded it… it was almost like he was doing me a favor. In general, everyone was either too insistent with the interactions as they wanted a tip, or nowhere to be found. I know this is normal in Egypt, but in other resorts they would be more subtle and the interactions felt way more natural. For the price I paid and the thousands of options you can get in Hurghada, I wouldn’t be back. 6/10.
