The hotel building seemed run down, the office sign read "open" but no one ever answered the door or their phone, so had to leave. I hope I was not charged for this reservation.

Closed for the night before I arrived!

I've never run into this before, but this hotel closed for the night before I arrived at 10 pm. In fact it closed at 8 pm, which is ridiculously early for people who are traveling, in my opinion. In any case, I was not aware it would close early, because the information was buried at the bottom of their online description. On top of being closed early, it is located in a dicey area, it looks like a dump from the outside, and on closer inspection the building is dilapidated. In short, save your money and go somewhere else.

No room place looked like a run down dump. No office on site parking was ok.

Decent room at a decent price

I arrived about 8:30 pm and had to wait for someone to come to the property and open the office and check me in. Then they got me set up and showed me my room in a separate building. The room was decent, wood floor, small bathroom with shower. The TV was brand new, and so was the bed and linens. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the hotel is located on a busy road that has a lot of large truck traffic all night long. These woke me up a few times. As a place to stop for the night it's good; close to the highway, but the 18 wheeler noise is constant. I did walk into town, and there are a few restaurants and bars in walking distance, which is convenient.
