Excellent stay at Old Park Villa
10.0Heritage guesthouse within easy walking distance of several restaurants. Room was basic but clean and comfortable with great AC and hot shower. Beautiful garden setting. Vijay and staff are very welcoming and happy to assist with any requests - top notch service. Breakfast was amazing - delicious but more than I could eat. I would happily stay here again.

Comfortable Haven in Jaffna
9.0The ambience of this small heritage hotel and the very helpful management and staff were wonderful. The manager even helped us to get to a hospital for some medical assistance. He spent a good couple of hours with us to approach the right expert. Rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed whenever required. The closeness of the town, the bus stand and the railway station made it very convenient to get around. Some nice eating places were also close by. Jaffna and the hospitality and friendliness of the people will be remembered. So will be the comfortable five-night stay in Old Park Villa.
− It's a very old building but well maintained to the extent humanly possible. If you are looking for shiny new places, you might not like this. We liked the stay, however, the big rooms, the heritage furniture, the garden and most of all the helping and caring staff.

7.0Jaffna is struggling to recover from the Civil war, the economic crisis and Covid, The hotel is trying to catch up, but it is struggling. I would recommend staying here, but do not expect an updated hotel. The staff were kind and helpful. We were happy we travelled to Jaffna, and we hope tourism increases to help support the economy..
A very comfortable short term stay with incredibly gracious and helpful hosts
7.0The staff was so gracious and helpful. Anything we needed they went out of their way to get including a blow drier, kettle, cups and help with the wifi. They also helped arrange a Tuk Tuk to the airport at the end of our stay.
− Some of the staff had very little English so communication at times was tricky.
