The property was closed. I booked a room to a place that was not available. I do not understand why this was an option on expedia.

The property was isolated. The kitchen and dining areas are shared. We walked into our building with every door to every unit opened and all the lights on. It was a strange layout. We felt unsafe and closed all the other units off. Our room was dirty, and the towels smelled of nicotine. There was no luggage stand, no DO NOT DISTURB signs. We had a two night rental, left for the day and came back to find someone had been in our room. They changed the trash can liners. If they were servicing the room (which we did not want), they could have mopped the floors that should have been done BEFORE we checked in.

The location off in the woods just beyond the golf course was unexpected and really beautiful. The rooms are quite unique. The rooms are tiny, but there are public areas within the building and a gazebo with a hot tub. The very best part was the staff. They were so welcoming and willing to take care of anything we needed.
