Could be great but needs a lot of repairs and upgrading.

− Badly needs upgrading. Very rundown with cracks in walls/ceilings. Dodgy plumbing - toilet didn't always flush. Room was boiling hot. No air con and windows had been shut before we got into room. Dirt on the stairs still there the next day.

− Supper was disappointing - a request for Bread with the starter - when it finally came - resulted in being offered 2 slices of a white loaf... the potato was over cooked and limited green vegetables to go with the lamb. They had mint sauce but not redcurrant jelly which would be my preference and not abnormal for lamb. They also insisted I settle up before going to bed - which meant I had to go back to the room and return downstairs - not a big problem but just a bit odd.
