Perfect spot for a short break in Basel
9.0The youth hostel is located in a nice area close to the city center of Basel. The building is very modern and gives you the feeling of "being at home". Nice corners to read a book or plan further travels, a bar with local beers and ice, terrace for breakfast, play corner for kids, books from all kind of topics to get inspiration, a small stream in front of the door, large trees,.... We stayed in a four bunk beds room with shared bathroom and it all was amazing. We even slept very well and everything was really clean.
− I believe the breakfast could be a bit more "mature"... there was not enough bread, would love to have eg eggs. But this is a matter of expectation. In total, the stay was great.

9.0Tolle Atmosphäre, schickes Design, gute Ausgangslage zur Erkundung der Stadt, Nähe zum Fluss, Fahrradkeller, Schließfächer für den An-/Abreisetag. Ich wurde automatisch in ein 6-Bett-FRAUENzimmer zugeteilt.
− Sichtschutz an den Betten für mehr Privatsphäre im Mehrbettzimmer wäre schön gewesen.
Mooi gebouw, maar dat is ook wel alles.
7.0De architectuur en de esthetiek.
− De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Alles was prima, personeel ook, maar niks blonk uit. Met een beetje enthousiasme kunnen ze wel een hoger cijfer halen. In alles voldeed het hostel aan de eisen, maar meer ook zeker niet.
Attenzione se andate in estate. Nelle camere non si respira dal caldo che c’è. Manca ventilazione e aria condizionata.

− The receptionist ignored me for minutes upon check in. She was eating her sandwich totally unbothered while I was standing there waiting to be checked in
