10.0Fantastic staff, rooms were beautifully appointed with amazing food & hospitality!!! The number 1 reason people should stay here though is the amazing wildlife experiences on offer!! We saw so many beautiful animals, birds and fauna a truly wonderful Safari experience that exceeded all our dreams!!
Tolle Lodges für Game Drives mit super netten Guides
10.0Wir haben insgesamt 4 Nächte in der Lodge verbracht. Das besondere hier ist, dass es sich um eine „unfenced“, also nicht eingezäunte Lodge handelt. Affen und Impalas sind also immer anzutreffen. Teilweise auch Elefanten, war während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht der Fall.Die Unterkünfte sind sehr sauber, die Verpflegung sehr gut, Frühstück wird frisch nach dem Morgen Drive zubereitet und das Abendessen unter offenem Sternenhimmel ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Game Drives morgens und abends. Die Guides Verena, Luan und Klaas haben uns mit soviel Informationen versorgt, sind tolle Wege gefahren und was wir an Tieren alles gesehen haben, war wirklich gigantisch. Und damit meine ich nicht nur die „Big five“, es waren auch soviele kleine Tiere zu sehen, Schlangen und Chameleons, die wir selber nie gesehen hätten. Und von den Lodge Besitzern Andreas und Heike haben wir noch viele Tipps für unsere weitere Reise zur Gardenroute bekommen.
− Da gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen, wenn man von einem „Nachteil“ reden könnte, dann ist es, dass man sich im Dunklen nicht mehr alleine auf der Lodge bewegen darf. Man wird von dann immer von einem der Guides begleitet und „ins Bett“ gebracht, heißt bis zur Unterkunft gebracht und auch morgens zum Game Drive abgeholt. Aber das ist wirklich nur ein Sicherheitsaspekt und keines Falls ein Nachteil.

Baluleni felt like home, but with the wonder of the wild right on our doorstep.
10.0Thanks to Baluleni, we had the most magical days of our lives. During our stay at the reserve, we were lucky enough to see lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and so many beautiful birds. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable – even the owners, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special thank you to Janine, who so patiently answered the million and one questions I had before our trip, and who was just as lovely and helpful while we were there. Her warmth made such a difference to our experience. We also met such wonderful people during our stay, which made our time at Baluleni feel even more special. We especially loved our game drives with Sarel and Luan – both so knowledgeable, dedicated to finding the animals, and always making us laugh along the way. Their passion truly brought the bush to life. From start to finish, we felt completely at home at Baluleni. It’s a place full of warmth, care, and unforgettable memories – we cannot wait to return.

10.0Letterlijk alles was fantastisch aan dit verblijf! De eigenaars, de gidsen, de rest van het persoon, de maaltijden, de kamers… We hadden tijdens het verblijf ook een platte band, maar zij hebben alles voor ons hier rond geregeld (zelf eraf gehaald en gemaakt). Onze auto werd ook gepoetst door hen.
− Vertrekken naar ergens anders. Het was met pijn in het hart dat we hier moesten vertrekken en het was hierbij heel moeilijk om het volgende verblijf leuk te vinden!
