I didn’t like it enough to say I will stay there again next year for lodge

− There was no pool is a downfall. And if you didn’t like waffles then breakfast was out.
Extremely bad manager at this Quality Inn -- he needs remedial training!
1.0The two ladies, both blonde, who tried to help us when we arrived. They even offered to help get some of our things upstairs, since there is NO elevator.
− Oh so much ... the manager was THE WORST, very snotty, uninterested in making up for the bad room we started in (mold could be smelled frim wall unit A/C and water was bubbling up under the painted drywall), or room we were moved to (got to room at 1030pm but did not cool down until 230am (room was intolerable hot on arrival, probably near 90, causing us to sweat like crazy, a perfect environment for mold to grow. It was over 90 outside when we arrived, and felt hotter inside -- they do not keep rooms at some basic temp. Next morning I told manager how bad it had been, and he just wanted to talk over me, would not listen, and would not offer any discount. Did not apologize until I told him they could at least apologize. All he said at almost 930am to me was if we left by 11am he would not charge for second night, but no discount for horrendous first night. It had been so hot we hardly slept. We had a wedding to attend by 11am so we had no time to get ready, pack up and find a new hotel in 30 minutes, so we had to stay second night. Not one penny discount for poor room in crummy motel with lousy manager. Although he would not normally bother, my husband is considering reporting terrible mold problem to his OSHA and EPA contacts due to the manager's lack of concern for the issues. As a side note small continental breakfast only served 6 to 9am sharp. It is completely gone by 9am, including spoons and napkins.
