1.0− Ci siamo lasciati convincere dalle belle fotografie. In realtà, però, è stato tutto molto diverso. Siamo venuti a Fabriano non per una vacanza, ma per motivi legati agli allenamenti. Avevo bisogno di un appartamento. Dalle foto sembrava che ci fossero una cucina e delle belle stanze, quindi ho prenotato senza pensarci troppo. Quando siamo arrivati, all’inizio non avevo nemmeno capito come fosse organizzata la struttura: c’era un grande salone comune con un tavolo da pranzo, poi un corridoio con circa cinque camere e, separata, una cucina condivisa da tutti gli ospiti. Tra l’altro era completamente vuota: non c’era nemmeno il sale. Naturalmente non c’era neppure una lavatrice. Avevo controllato sia Google Maps sia il sito ufficiale, dove la struttura era indicata come B&B. Ho pensato: “Almeno ci sarà la colazione”, visto che non avevamo fatto in tempo a comprare nulla e la mattina dopo dovevamo essere in palestra alle 8.00. Invece la colazione non era prevista. Le camere, che nelle foto sembravano molto belle e spaziose, nella realtà erano piccolissime: ci stava appena il letto e non c’era quasi spazio per muoversi. In tutta la struttura faceva molto caldo, probabilmente perché non veniva arieggiata da tempo, e c’era anche un odore piuttosto particolare. Non c’era l’aria condizionata, nonostante fuori ci fossero 35 °C. La finestra della camera era al piano terra, con zanzariera e inferriata. Inoltre non si poteva nemmeno aprire completamente perché il bastone della tenda era stato montato in modo da impedirne l’apertura. Alla fine abbiamo deciso di non soggiornare lì. Naturalmente non ci è stato rimborsato nulla. Anzi, ci è stato chiesto di cancellare la prenotazione, promettendoci che, se fossero riusciti ad affittare di nuovo la camera, ci avrebbero restituito i soldi. Ovviamente non è arrivato alcun rimborso. Ci hanno restituito solo circa 50 euro, cioè la commissione di Booking. Francamente, fa quasi sorridere.
Posizione e comfort ideale per visitare Fabriano.
