Nice quiet place with a clean pool, near the beach and a supermarket. A great located apartmenthotel with a very helpfull and wellcomming couple running the hotel.

Kalithea er et hyggelig familiedrevet hotell. Beliggende i en nydelig hage med fint bassengområde. Det er aldri mangel på solsenger. Hotellet har enkel standard spesielt på baderommet, men har alt du trenger. Gangavstand, ca 250 m, til en fantastisk sandstrand. Superhyggelig vertskap som sørget for fylt kjøleskap da vi kom og alltid var på tilbudssiden. Kalithea anbefales på det sterkeste for par og barnefamilier!

Wonderful apartment with great sea views

Fantastic apartment with a beautiful sea view. Everywhere was absolutely spotless and the owners Nikkos and Maria are always on hand to offer advice or just a friendly chat. THe pool and surrounding area is immaculate. 5 mins walk from the beach, supermarket is 2 mins away. Great air con and wi-fi. One of the best places we have every stayed.

Great apartments and fantastic hosts

The Kalithea apartments are very well maintained with a very nice gardens and pool area. Inside our apartment was all you could ask for and more. The kitchen had an electric oven/grill, fridge with freezer drawer, and a coffee maker. There was a TV and free air con units in both the bedroom & the main sitting area. We spent nearly every day visiting different places in Crete, so really appreciated the comfortable and quiet apartment to rest ahead of the next day. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Nikos and he showed us our apartment. A number of things had been provided for us.. Maria had made a fresh Greek salad and baked a marble cake, there was water, wine, mythos, butter & honey in the fridge. There was also some bread, fruit & coffee pods for the coffee maker. Also in the apartment is a helpful book of information on places to visit, the website is also a good place to get some ideas. Throughout the holiday we were very appreciative of the welcome and help in planning trips given by Nikos and Maria. They are the best hosts I've encountered holidaying anywhere. Thank you very much! The location of the apartments is ~3 mins walk from a beautiful quiet beach, less than 2 mins walk from a supermarket and a bus stop, and ~15 mins walk to the centre of Kalives town. There are plenty of tavernas in the centre & nearer to the apartments. I am sure we'll return to Kalives in the future and if we do, there will be no hesitation in choosing to stay at the Kalithea apartments.

KALITHEA APARTMENTS - SUPERB!

We spent a week here in June/July 2017. Everything was just superb! The owners Nykos and Maria take great pride in their accommodation, everything inside and out is spotless and in perfect condition. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool area and garden are immaculate. Ample sunloungers and parasols. 100m from a good supermarket and 200m from a lovely beach. Kalyves centre is about a twenty minute stroll and there are plenty of good restaurants with very reasonable prices. There is no doubt that we will be back!
