The only criticism I have for this charming, relaxing property is that the bed we slept on was like a king sized army cot with the steel spring frame, and the pillows were akin to the disposable kind you get in the ER. That being said, we would stay at Carriage Lane Inn again, but we hope the bed would be a bit more comfortable next time.

Clean King room with two person tub.

My husband and I stayed with the Carriage Lane Inn on Aug 16 & 17, 2024. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Our Room (East Tennessee, I think) was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood and it served as wonderful lodging for our two night stay. We are not a fan of hotels, so this was a great alternative for us. Our King room was large and the bathroom had a stand alone shower and a huge, wonderful two person tub! They provided nice fluffy towels and soap for the bathroom. We had a TV with Roku to watch movies if you desired. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and dark for sleeping with a ceiling fan over the bed for great room circulation. I never met the inn keepers but they were very easy to work with and booking the room was easy. They left us snacks and waters in the refrigerator. Instead of breakfast at the Inn you are given meal vouchers to local restaurants to cover your breakfast meal. They were very close to the Inn and we had very good food. We especially loved Pucketts. The town is actually a great little town with cute shops and mom and pop restaurants. We also liked a restaurant called Alley on Main. I recommend the Carriage Lane Inn if you are in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We have actually already booked the same room for two nights next year.

We stayed at the 411 Magney house. Built in the late 1800s. It retained all the features and furniture of the original home. Our room was on the first floor. It was beautiful, spacious and clean. The bathroom also very spacious with a nice size shower. We had access to the kitchen which included the fridge and coffee maker. It's located in a small historic town. We enjoyed our walks lined with beautiful old houses and flowers. We walked to Puckett's for dinner which was very nice. Charming, quiet home in a charming, quiet town.
