8.0Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and it wasn’t noisy. A little sound travel from nearby rooms but a decent room at a good price. Plus it was toasty out and the AC was up to the task which was nice. Plus the restaurant downstairs is awesome, large portions and really good food.
− Oddly from the end of my bed to the dresser with the mini fridge was about 12 inches, so you could get to the other side of the room towards the window but it was just oddly narrow. But it wasn’t like that in the other room we booked. Mattress was softer than I usually like but everyone else found it to be about right.
I would only recommend this place if you sleep like the dead or imbibe enough alcohol at the bar downstairs that you are
3.0The cleaning staff were kind and helpful
− Checking in was ridiculous. A long wait at the front desk then unable to find my reservation because they had not checked the reservations from booking.com since the previous day. Charged 30$ extra for a pet when the signage said 25$, which was posted on the bulletin board at the top of the stairs. No available plugs in the room to charge devices. No coffee facilities in the room. I was not informed that weak coffee was available in the restaurant for free between the hours of 9 am and restaurant closing. The cleaning staff enquired and kindly dropped off 2 cups of coffee which was undrinkable. The room was very small and walls were paper thin. The room got very hot overnight and we had to put the noisy window aircon on. We left before the restaurant opened so no coffee for us.
I liked the stay. I had to travel back and forth from Kamloops, but the room was cheap and it helped with my trip financ
