Amazing. We arrived on a Sunday on bikes. The kitchen is not normally open but the owners kept it open for us. Great food too and lovely beers.

Nothing.

A Wonderful Short Break at Wolds Village Hotel

9.0

Whenever we travel, we prefer to stay in independent, family-run places, and Wolds Village Hotel proved to be a superb choice for exploring Yorkshire's East Riding. The owners, Chris and Sally, are absolutely lovely and have created a really special place for guests. We stayed in the Edwardian room and it was very clean, comfortable, and spacious with attention to detail and everything needed for our stay. There is a courtyard restaurant / tearoom, gift shop and gallery there. Beautiful rural location with lovely grounds to explore and, although close to the road, it was perfectly peaceful. We slept so well. Breakfast was great, and there's the option of taking it in your room but we're glad we opted to sit in the conservatory restaurant so we could listen to Chris's fab favourite tunes from the 1970/80s. That provided such an uplifting start to our day. Thank you so much, Chris and Sally, for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Fabulous!

10.0

We received a really warm welcome. We stayed in the Tudor Room (all 6 rooms are themed); it was very comfortable with plenty of hanging and drawer space. Bottled water and plenty of decent tea & coffee. Lovely bathroom with a decent shower and plenty of hot water. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were plentiful and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and can't do enough to help. Even if you aren't visiting this particular part of Yorkshire we would recommend going slightly out of your way and stay at this little gem - you won't be disappointed!

Nothing! Wish we'd stayed for another night!
