THE FRIENDS & FAMILY UNIT consists of two separate rooms connected by a shared balcony overlooking the pool area. Each room can be booked individually or together as a private Friends & Family Unit. Please note that unless the full Friends & Family Unit is booked together, booking one room does not include access to the second room, as they are separate accommodation spaces sharing only the balcony area. Both rooms feature air conditioning, smart TVs, and can be configured with either 2 single beds or 1 king-size bed. The unit includes 1 en-suite private bathroom and 1 detached private bathroom.

9.0Everyone was lovely and helpful, and when I came back to stay for one more night before flying home, everyone was genuinely excited to see me again. Everything was clean, breakfast was great, and all the staff were super helpful. I'll definitely stay at The Big the next time I find myself in Cape Town.
− The honor bar beer selection could use some more variety. And the room upstairs above the wood fire heater gets a little smoky smell early in the morning when staff start to set up the kitchen for breakfast in winter. Woke me up much earlier than I had hoped to be up on a couple occasions, but this is limited to just one particular room due to the layout of the building. I stayed in a second room later and had no such issues.

10.0Lugar incrível com funcionários extremamente simpáticos. Quartos compartilhados amplos, com camas confortáveis e lockers. Banheiro privativo com bom chuveiro em cada quarto. Limpeza impecável com serviço de quarto diários.Café da manhã ótimo, com frutas, granola, pães, geleias, iogurtes e ovos.

8.0Very good location, great breakfast, fully equipped kitchen, the room was clean and cozy, the staff was very kind and responsive. The cost of living is competitive. I really liked the gift from the hotel — a bottle of white wine. It was very tasty.
− The room was very cold (in July - winter season here). There was an electric blanket, so sleeping was fine, but getting out of bed was really hard at the night time.
