Great little room - quiet & clean

The service was phenomenal - I was treated like the only guest there! The only trouble I had was with the steps in the front. Not their fault though - I'm disabled. Seeing me struggle, the mgr (?) came out of his office, carried my bags to my room, figured out an easier way to use the stairs.... I mean, while I was in my room, he was thinking about it! This gentleman truly cares, and thay goes such a long way with me. Honestly, if there were no steps involved, this woud be my new favorite place to stay in Iowa. Thank you for your kind hospitality!!

− There were steps to deal with, and I'm mobility disabled. But if he'd had the time and materials, he was so nice - it wouldn't have surprised me if he made a ramp.

It was enough for what we needed for the night, I guess.

− One thin blanket. 2 pillows. Tiny shower. No frills room at all for what we paid ($150). Seemed WAY over priced but we were sick of riding and couldn't find anything else reasonable without heading back to Dubuque. Out of curiosity looked at what the room cost for the foreseeable future and it was literally half what we paid. If I'd paid the $80 it looks to be any other night I would be upset but certainly the value was awful for $150 - paid less in downtown La Crosse the night before.

Good location and price. There was no breakfast. It is a simple hotel but internet was really good and all the appliances worked properly.

The property is older and not fancy but was very clean. Owner on site and pleasant and helpful. Great location for a local baseball tournament with easy access to fields, restaurants and grocery store.

− The stairs to the second floor were kind of brutal. No blow dryer in the room.

Very dated. But clean. The outside is less than appealing

A place to sleep for 1 night was adequate.

It was at the center of all the places we had to go.

− I know it is an old motel, but the room smelled musty and the wall AC was noisy. The room pamphlet said there was a complimentary breakfast but there was not.
