Surprise accommodation with owners and a dog living there full time, but nothing negative about that for as long as you

Nice area to stay. Short distance to metro with BIXI bikes.

− To our surprise there was a dog staying in the house, with the owners what we didn’t expect either. We thought that the whole house would have been private for us during our stay. Maybe our own misunderstanding but nevertheless it was not as relaxing for us what we wanted. Nothing bad to say about the owners however, they were very nice, friendly and helpful people.

Overall, this was a very lovely little home that was kept clean and tidy, and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler

Location was great and very easy to walk to their small village center which had plenty of restaurants. Very quiet location. Delightful older house and the hosts were very gracious and spoke excellent English.

− There was a small dog that lived at the house that I was not aware of. As someone who has a discomfort with small dogs, I wish I would’ve known this ahead of time Additionally, breakfast was included, but I was never told when breakfast would be. I left at 8:30 in the morning and still nobody was awake and there were no signs as to when breakfast was served so I left hungry. Just a little disappointed in that. Additionally, there was construction, going onto the outside of the house right underneath my bedroom window until 8:30 at night. Making for a weary travel travelers’s ability to get to sleep early impossible.
