Location and view was great.

− Very run down and dirty. Possibly even a fire hazard.

Great location near the sea, but severely understaffed, dirty, and lacking maintenance.

The only real advantage is its location, as it is very close to the seaside.

− There are quite a few issues that need serious improvement: Location & Amenities: There are no grocery stores or supermarkets nearby. Also, my food in the shared fridge was taken away just because I didn't label it in time. Cleanliness & Odor: The hostel is extremely dirty and smelly everywhere. The rooms and bedding are far from clean, the shared spaces and mixed dorms have a terrible odor, and the carpets on the stairs are filthy with dust visible on many surfaces. Basic air fresheners could help, but deep cleaning is desperately needed. Facilities & Maintenance: The bathroom is very dirty, the sink was broken, and there was no hot water. The entire building seems to need major maintenance and repairs. Service & Breakfast: There is only one staff member handling reception, cleaning, and everything else, which is clearly understaffed and overwhelming. Additionally, the advertised "breakfast" was practically non-existent. While I understand it's a budget backpacker hostel, they really need to hire more staff to keep the place clean, functional, and hygienic.

La ubicación y terracita acristalada al atardecer.

− Los electrodomésticos estaban para tirar, muy sucios y regular el funcionamiento. Las sartenes mal tb (se pegaba la comida). El baño, le hace falta renovar y mejorar bastante.

Good location and friendly staff

Only a few minutes walk from the causeway visitor center, really good price for such a good location. The members of staff were very nice, we spent the evening chatting and listening to music with the other travelers. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is pretty big.

− To go to the upper bed you have to climb a dangerous and painful ladder, and once you're in the bed, the ceiling is really close, you can't even sit. That was the only issue.

Bien situé par rapport à la Chaussée des Géants !

− Très,très bruyant entre l’extérieur, la route passagère et les habitants de l’auberge de jeunesse, plancher et escalier qui craquent, les portes qui claquent ou grincent . Vous êtes gâtés ! Prévoir des boules quies .

The kitchen and the veranda are nice and clean. Friendly volunteers. Big fridge.

− There was no manager when I was there, just two young volunteers running the hostel. The windows and doors were shaking in the night because of the draught caused by the wind blowing through untight windows and doors. Mattress so old and worn I could feel the springs. The bathrooms... a unique makeshift. Very spartan!
