The BEST host and a beautiful villa!

Villa Ermis is beautiful. Quiet, secluded and lots of space. The pool, playground, table tennis etc are fab. The host George is so nice and welcoming and caring. We arrived late at night and George went shopping and bought us all we needed for breakfast and more. We felt very looked after. When we left he brought gifts for the children to remember Crete. He is a book binder and he made little note books for the kids. Meeting George was a wonderful experience and Crete and the villa were lovely too!

Villa Ermis is an enchanting hidden gem which everything required for a relaxing stay.

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The quality of everything in the property was good and was furnished very nicely. The beds were very comfortable. George had left us lots of supplies and lovely treats to get us started which we really appreciated. We used the bbq at the property a few times when we didn’t feel like going out to eat (there’s a local taverna and a short drive to Rethymno where there are so many lovely restaurants to chose from). Much of our time was spent relaxing at the pool, reading a book or playing chess in the shaded areas or enjoying breakfast on the balcony. The views were breathtaking - particularly from the rooftop terrace. The air conditioning worked well and the house was lovely and cool due to being built from stone - despite the scorching temperatures outside. Our sons loved swimming in the pool, playing football in the late afternoon and cycling around the gardens (which were more like a small park!). We would all definitely love to return to Villa Ermis one day.

− There really want anything. George advised us to use bottled water for drinking and warned us that the water delivery hadn’t arrived when expected and that we should be careful with water usage meanwhile. To be honest, it didn’t affect anything and we would have been none the wiser. The water delivery arrived a day later so no problems at all.

Super mooi huis met alles wat je maar kunt wensen: overal airco’s, goede bedden, mooie locatie, veel privacy, alle keukenapparatuur. Daarnaast mooie uitvalsbasis, vlakbij Rethymno wat het leukste stadje van Kreta is. En last but not least de geweldige eigenaar Georgios die zorgt voor een warm welkom, een gevulde koelkast en een hoop goede tips heeft qua restaurants en tripjes. Helemaal top!

− Ook na diep nadenken kunnen wij geen enkel minpunt benoemen.

We like absolutely everything we had. Location is in a small village, very quiet, and wonderful birds songs from morning till evening. The house is equipped with all necessary what you need. Barbecue place is well arranged. Charcoal and fire starters are there. Wine, soft drinks are in the fridge. Swimming pool is clean and ready for use. Wonderful garden with the equipment for children’s play. Upper terrace is a great place for a family to have morning coffee with a beautiful view around. Balconies are also awesome, especially very early morning, when sun is rising. 15 min drive to the beach, and even less time to get to a grocery stores.
