10.0This was a stunning castle to stay in. The frescoed ceilings were gorgeous. Loved every minute that we were there. The staff were wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to add a vending machine and maybe to offer pastries in thr morning.

Beautiful castle and views
8.0Beautiful castle that would be so much more enjoyable with just a few changes. Windows need to be able to attach to shutters so will stay open and not blow closed with wind. Basic items such as toilet paper, seasonings for cooking, more comfortable twin mattress, ability to order basic meals at restaurant if wanted.

8.0This is a great value for families. Stepping out in the morning to picture perfect Tuscany landscapes is delightful. We stayed in the Castello proper a few years ago and I admit I was disappointed to stay in one of the out buildings this time but it accommodated our family of five nicely. We arrived just in time for the on-site restaurant to add us for dinner the first night and it was a TREAT! We could get to the outskirts of Florence in 25-30 minutes and using this as a launch point for day trips to Cinque Terra and Tuscan farm activities to the South was precisely why we came here again. Driving back up into the hills was like coming home. Don't miss that last turn though! LOL
