Great little hotel not a short walk away from the centre.
7.0Clean and a great breakfast
− The bar was only open from 4pm until 8 pm and served no food.
A good stay in York
8.0A fine and quiet B&B with a good location near the center of York. Good breakfast.
− The lady who was supposed to let us in persisted on receiving my card details via text a few hours before our arrival. Apparently the payment didn't go through via booking. The thing I didn't like was that she was quit forceful in communication and even suggested not to give us access to the room. We were due to arrive in the evening, and she didn't want to wait until then to receive us. In the end, she agreed to wait for us to pay in person if we paid an extra cost. In the end, I worked out fine but I felt quit stressed/coerced about this request as I was not sure if this was for real because my bank gives the advice not to give in to these kind of messages.
Lovely, comfortable room with nice staff.
8.0Lovely friendly staff, great breakfast and nice room. Great for us and our two children for a one night stay in York. Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short family stay.
− The road next to the inn is very noisy until quite late at night. When the windows are open (which they had to be as it was hot) it was very hard to sleep.

9.0A localização foi boa, próximo às muralhas da cidade, em torno de 10min andando. Quarto com bom tamanho para acomodar a minha família (eu, esposa e 2 filhos). Estacionamento gratuito. Staff atencioso.
− Nosso quarto ficava na parte mais alta do hotel e ele não tem elevador. Não chegou a impactar e estava informado na descrição do hotel, mas não imaginava que ficaria no ponto mais alto.
