Hotel needs to fix their card system
4.0Good location. Good breakfast. Sloppy housekeeping. Our base bed sheet was too small and not holding in place. The worst experience was with our card keys. They stopped working in the morning. Replacements did not work either. Front desk person came with his gadget and could not open it either. We spent 30 min waiting at the door and were delayed getting back on the road. Desk person was very helpful, and this was apparently not an isolated issue. All this for $250 a night. We’ll find another hotel in this area next time.

Poor management & Theft
2.0Very disappointed with my experience at Homewood Suites Cincinnati/West Chester. During my stay, my shoes were stolen from the property and instead of receiving help or concern, the General Manager immediately stated that he “trusts his team” and said nothing like this had ever happened there — without apologizing or properly investigating the situation. I was told someone would follow up with me, but after about 10 days I had still heard nothing. When I called back for an update, another manager falsely claimed the General Manager had already checked into the issue that same day. I knew that was not true because the General Manager had literally walked out of the building with me earlier wearing a t-shirt saying he would not even be there when I returned. I also experienced a male housekeeper entering my room without knocking or announcing himself first, which made me extremely uncomfortable as a guest. I travel often and have never experienced treatment like this at Hilton properties in the Chicago area. The lack of professionalism, accountability, communication, and concern for guest safety was terrible. I will never return.

− The refrigerator door opened backwards so we couldn't use the refrigerator. We were on the 2nd floor and there were children on the 3rd floor who jumped and stomped every night until 10pm
