− It took 10 minutes for someone to show up to check us in. Then no explanation or apology. Room needs. The woodwork is chipped and stained— old and tired. Our tub had a big chip. However, the room was clean and the air conditioning worked great.
Great get away with family! Hotel was just ok!!

Convenient spot for exploring Lake Superior's north shore
6.0I appreciate staff's help with an issue related to my booking dates. The beds were comfortable. Good location for exploring the North Shore. Nice to be able to walk to a beach area. Had a tasty dinner in the onsite restaurant. Room was quiet despite the hotel being fairly busy over the 4th of July holiday.
− Bathroom sink area was very small. Could have used 2 lights, one next to each double bed. The one lamp didn't provide enough light. Construction around the back of the hotel impacted use of the deck. Some of the front desk staff were not very friendly. Wish the restaurant provided a breakfast option during the week but at least there were beverage options in the lobby. Felt the cost was very high for the type of lodging and the amenities offered.
