Loistava laatutaso ja vaativankin vaatimustason täyttävä majoitus
10.0Erittäin hyvä sijainti, rauhallinen ympäristö, todella hyvätasoinen huone, ilmeisesti juuri remontoitu. Kylpyhuonekin oli kansainvälistä 4-5 -tähden tasoa toisin kuin Suomessa pääkaupunkiseudun ulkopuolella yleensä. Palvelu myös esimerkillistä ja erittäin ystävällistä. Paljon maailmalla matkailevana yllätyin enkä odottanut näin hyvätasoista majoitusta ja palvelua Joensuussa. Hieno suoritus ja näin voidaan itäiseenkin Suomeen saada laatutietoista turismia. 70-luvun Cumulus-taso ja motellitaso valitettava standardi edelleen suuressa osassa Suomea. Lähinnä pääkaupunkiseutu ja Lappi joiltain osin ajan tasalla laatutasoltaan. Joensuun Kimmel antoi toivoa…

5.0Normaali aamiainen, sopiva huoneen koko ja toimiva ilmastointi.
− Henkilökunta hieman välinpitämätöntä. Hinnat korkeat, esim sama konjakki oli 50 % kalliimpi kuin hotelli Valjuksessa Kajaanissa. Huoneen hinta tähtitieteellinen, tällä rahalla keski- Euroopassa olisi saanut luksushotellin.
Miellyttävä viikonloppu hienossa ympäristössä.

− Huone oli kallis. Eivätkä normaalit seniorialennukset olleet voimassa, koska kaupungissa oli Ilosaarirock-tapahtuma.
