Management needs Customer Service training.

Management needs to understand the importance of taking care of the customer. The weekend of 7/10-7/11 there was an water issue within the nearby towns causing the resort to restrict drinking water without boiling it and closed their restaurants. Having to travel for breakfast to towns that weren't affected by the issue, as well as, having my dinner at the resort cancelled were just a few of the unexpected inconveniences. Obviously, the resort did not caused this issue but it did not provide the amenities they were suppose to provide. Having spent well over $1,800 for a two day stay, I requested if there would be a credit of some kind to compensate. They said NO. with no sort of explanation why. I'm sure when the resort files for reimbursement of their losses to the State Emergency funding , for the water problem, it will be compensated and be made hole. If they would have given a 5% or 10% credit on my stay or give it on my next stay at the resort, I would have felt that management cared about their guest. Therefore, I have spent my last $ their and will not be back. You see, there is too much competition in the Hotel/Resort business and when your customer service break down, you lose business.

Loved the grounds especially lawn & hydrangeas. Everything felt maintained. Staff very friendly.

− Felt like we needed a little more for breakfast. There were some items at the bakery/cafe walk up that was not available & espresso machine was not working.

Beyond Horrible Experience

Literally the worst service I have ever received anywhere. Beautiful place right on the water but the service is abysmal. Bartender finally took our drink order for 2 diet cokes then proceeded to completely disregard our order and serve 10 other people while we watched in disbelief. Stunningly bad service. This place should be a gem, instead its a nightmare.
