Basic accommodation. Great spot for an early admission at Lingard Private Hospital.
5.0The motel is very close to Lingard Private hospital. Also close to the Mary Ellen Hotel which has great food. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was very quiet.
− Room was basic with a very small shower and toilet area. The handbasin is situated above the cistern of the toilet. Best option for teeth cleaning is at the kitchenette sink. Stairwell untidy.
Dark room & ordinary location
5.0− Booked a 'Queen Studio ' & was given a very dark, cave-like room with only a small highlight window. The room smelt of cleaning fluid that made us cough. The Manager did some shuffling & we paid extra $40 p/night for a room with more natural light - but overlooking the adjoining servo! Moved to a beachfront hotel for our last night in Newie - fab views & minimal extra cost.
