10.0Nice atmosphere,I wanted a bath and was moved to a different room with a bath which was lovely

We like the place for food and a drink, but we would not stay again
7.0The location in the village of Barley is fab, as it is close to Pendle Hill, we have eaten here a few times but never stayed this time we thought we would stay for the night.
− When we arrived we were greeted by a young man who showed us to our room, the hoover had been left out on the corridor and there seemed to be a stagnant smell - when I looked around our room I said to my partner this room has not been hoovered (room 6) at the side of the wardrobe there looked like plastic wrapping and clumps of dust on the carpet, the blinds need cleaning as there is dust on them, it felt like it hadn’t had a good dusting for a few weeks, bottles of water a nice touch along with tea and coffee making facilities, a fan would have been nice in the room, breakfast was ok - black pudding/bacon too hard looked like it had been left on a warming plate but for too long

− Parking was a little difficult locally but this did not affect my stay
Wonderful stay in a lovely quiet village - the breakfast was excellent - would definitely recommend.

− Very, very minor issue with parking spaces at the property but there is nearby roadside parking.
