As good as Friday Harbor hotel rooms come, but excellent location and staff.
8.0Have stayed here before, so that tells you something. Location is at the heart of Friday Harbor within walking distance of everything, ferries, cinema, bars, restaurants and the new superb brewery.
− Room quite small considering the price. It is hard to understand why all hotel accommodations have such poor room lighting. Room lacked even a small-ish desk for computer (laptop) work, and there was not an extra chair for one of the guests. Offered only one luggage rack, could have used the minimum two; now we have to carry our own extra luggage rack.
Missing
6.0I booked a King Sky Place Cabana for three nights. There is no closet in the room, just a couple of hooks to hang all of your clothes. I have to put my shoes under the sink in the bathroom. There are two large windows. One window was left unlocked prior to check in. Thankfully I checked before retiring for the night. We are on the first floor. The second large window the drapes are not wide enough to cover and let's all the light in when you're trying to sleep. There are some nice flowers on the grounds. We are close to town and easy to walk to.
Great stay close to shops and restaurants
10.0The room was cute and nicely decorated. Clean and comfortable. Located just a couple blocks from the ferry. Great walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants. Loved the artisan soaps, smelled so good. Loved the fluffy robe left in room for use. Like they offer massages, but didn’t have time to get one.

− The wall-mounted air conditioning blew right on us in that at the head of the bed. But would have been better if it was at the foot of the bed.

8.0What a GREAT location! Walking distance to Friday Harbor - charming! The staff were exceptionally nice! And having the cafe on site was also great!
− The rooms were a bit average. And the bathroom could use a bit of an update.
