God beliggenhed, fantastisk mad. Både morgenmad og middag. Onzen var en kæmpe oplevelse og meget ægte . Hotellet er dog noget slidt. Til gengæld er der massagestol (gratis). Og stor lækker foyer.(Dig slidt). Hotellet var under renovering,så derfor var prisen virkelig god. En tur rundt om søen , med vilde sneaber og kæmpe vandfald var simpelthen fantastisk.

− Der lugtede af svovl og man kunne ikke få mad uden at bestille på forhånd. Personalets engelsk er heller ikke det bedste.

Hotel with incredible food and natural onsen in a beautiful place

The hotel has very unusual rooms. They are very big, with one half made in Western style with tall tables and beds, and the other part in Japanese style with tatami and futons. You can sleep however you want. The room was very quiet, which was expected given that the hotel is located in a remote place. Onsen with natural water is a highlight. Make sure to book dinner in advance. Both because there isn't really any option around anyway, and also because the dinner is incredible and is a real spectacle.

− I have to be blunt - the hotel is old and is in desperate need of renovation. Some repairs were being made on the exterior, but really it needs a complete overhaul.

To use the hotel's free shuttle, please make a reservation at least 1 day in advance.

- Pick-up service from JR/Tobu Nikko Station to the property is available at 13:30.

- Drop-off service from the hotel to JR/Tobu Nikko Station is available at 09:45.
