Loved it, such a warm and cosy guest house.
9.0Beautiful four poster king bed in the Honeysuckle room, really nice vintage interior decoration, staff were lovely and inviting, continental breakfast was perfect - plenty to choose from, over 50 teas on offer 24/7, quiet location, nice spa bath to enjoy after a long day hiking, great collection of DVDs and books.
− Such a minor issue but since it’s an old property the walls are thin and the floors are creaky so you can hear people talking late at night / early morning in the dining room next door (despite quiet hours being from 8pm of course no one listens to that simple instruction). This is no fault of the management / owners, more a comment on patron’s lack of respect for others who are trying to rest.

10.0Immaculately clean & well maintained. Beautiful furniture, decor etc. Nice areas to relax in with a cuppa or wine.
− If you are a light sleeper take earplugs. The floors are creaky & the pipes to the heaters upstairs clang. But all to be expected in an old property.
