Friendly staff and prime location!
10.0My sister and I stayed at Ueno Hotel for 10 days—the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I had no problem speaking with them in English. The room itself is on the smaller side but we could fit a carry on and two checked in bags in our room with enough space to spare for walking around. One thing that did catch us off guard is that the hallways are open-air, a bit different from hotels in the US but it was not a problem for us. The location is also super prime as it’s close to the station and the park, will definitely be booking a stay here again if I come back to Japan!
